Conflict Free Metal & Gemstone Policy
The Bazar Group Inc., (Imperial-Deltah & Imperial LGD Divisions) is committed and focused on our leadership role in working with precious metal and gemstone suppliers that develop sustainable and practical solutions that create transparency in their supply chain as well as promote responsible sourcing of materials. In accordance with The Bazar Group’s Supplier Code of Conduct, the same obligations and criteria that apply to our direct suppliers will also apply to subcontractors.
The Bazar Group Inc., (Imperial-Deltah & Imperial LGD Divisions) will only source gold, silver and gemstones from reputable suppliers who have: certified their materials as coming from certified sources including the LBMA good delivery list, are certified members of the Responsible Jewellery Council or, suppliers that certify and independently audit that all gold, silver and gemstones supplied are conflict free. Additionally, The Bazar Group Inc., (Imperial-Deltah & Imperial LGD Divisions) purchases only gemstones, both Natural and Lab Grown, that originate from non-sanctioned countries (Russia, Myanmar). Natural and Lab Grown gemstones used or supplied by Imperial-Deltah or Imperial LGD divisions undergo gemstone testing to ensure accuracy in our supply chain and are kept segregated in storage and shipping areas.
Gold and silver material is only sourced from vendors that certify and independently audit all of the gold from refineries and/or banks that adhere to the Refinery & Bank compliance requirements that are covered in the SEC, August 22, 2012 final ruling for Section 1502 on the Conflict Materials in the Dodd-Frank Act.
